About Fashion for Humanoid Robots

Editorial independence
Fashion for Humanoid Robots is an independent publication. We do not accept placement fees, commissions, affiliate arrangements, or any form of compensation from the manufacturers, ateliers, or contract producers of the pieces we review. Our operating costs are covered by newsletter subscriptions and by a small number of institutional supporters, whose identities we disclose annually in the editorial-policy update.
Correction policy
Substantive errors identified in a published review are corrected within one working week of a documented report. Corrections are labelled clearly at the head of the affected review and re-transmitted to newsletter subscribers when the affected review was the subject of a subscriber dispatch. Trivial errors (formatting, spelling, minor factual clarifications) are corrected without a labelled note but are recorded in the internal edit log.
How ratings are governed
Every rating is finalized by a panel of three editors. Where a rating is contested internally, the more conservative rating prevails. Ratings are re-run when a piece is materially updated or when the platform it is cut for is materially updated. The methodology behind every rating is documented in full on the methodology page.
Ownership and location
Fashion for Humanoid Robots is edited from a distributed editorial team based in Paris and Tokyo. Editorial governance is held by the editors' panel; commercial ownership is by an independent publishing entity established for the purpose. Neither the editors nor the ownership entity holds a commercial interest in any humanoid platform manufacturer, atelier, or contract producer.
